Title meaning by Jon: "The reason it's called Nemesis (Dark Star) is because we had to have a song called Nemesis (Dark Star) on the record. It had nothing to do with it".

Song meaning by Jon: "I'm talking about the anti-me. You can't go through life without disagreeing with people, I reckon that's a part of being an adult. I spent most of my life going, 'the worst thing that could happen to me is for someone to not like me'..why? What have I done? And then you realise 'right, you can't control everything'. People are gonna disagree with you, people are gonna agree with you...snd you've gotta let go control of that and just work out who you are and what you believe. when playing, attempt to focus on playing the 3 lower strings. this makes the bassy bits stand out
more, and its sounds better if they do (because they are the only bits changing in the song). the
higher notes are just repeating, so try to back off a wee bit on them.
