			what is it about Newcastle? why are they always the loudest, sweatiest and most electric of gigs. I think Newcastle has got the name for being Rock town number 1 in Aussie and tonight's show did nothing to dispel that. yee-ha! last time we played the Bar on the Hill we had the Whitlams playing before us to get us all fired up (as in, wow - they suck. lets make it up to the crowd.) this time we just had a bunch of cool young rock bands (Betchadupa included who were fan-fuckin'-tastic), a ballistic, fanatical Pacifier crowd and us. it was Heaven! we're really starting to know the new songs well and therefore the set's just starting to flow making the show one big good feeling rather than lots of little bursts of energy with spaces in between. this is what we've been waiting for. that Bullitproof feeling. that "even if I fall off this P.A. I'm gonna just get up and keep on playing 'cause it's feeling so good" kinda feeling. and, by the way, our fans rule. long live the Pacifanatics.
