What they do on the show is turn ordinary vehicles into crazy contraptions, like a VW Beetle into a amphibious swamp boat with a big propeller on the back. For our episode they turn an RV [motor home] into a mobile skate ramp, then skater Tony Hawk and BMXer Rick Thorn ride it!<br /> I cant believe we are gonna play songs while Tony Hawk is ripping it up! There&#039;s already been a noise complaint and we have even played a note yet, the director assures us everything will be ok. So, we get to ROCK!, Rick Thorn even introduced us saying our &#039;sounds&#039; are &#039;DOPE!&#039;.Can&#039;t ask for much more than that. Also get to meet Tony Hawk. Then we eventually made our way to LAX for the red-eye flight to Detroit. The flights overbooked and they aren&#039;t serving a meal on a 4 or 5 hour flight, plus paying for excess baggage...<br /> Still we had a great day....back to the cold weather.<br /> [[Category:Journal]]</div>
