I started my day with the search for food. We were parked outside the venue in a pretty desolate industrial area, so I decided to walk into the city. It was the weirdest thing. The only signs of life were people at a Greyhound bus station and a huge Baptist church. It was like that scene in ?The devils advocate? where Keanu walks down the empty streets of New York. It was a Sunday though. I definitely had lots of energy on stage tonight. I could tell because afterwards my toes were sore from jumping up and down. Toms throat was bugged that night so I had to sing some of his parts. I hope our sound guy buried my vocals in lots of reverb. We signed lots of c.ds that night. It?s such a great feeling to connect with people who have just seen us for the first time.
