We turned up in Deep Elm, sorta the boheimian end of town, Tonight we we're at Tree's, a famous old venue where Kurt Cobain had an altercation with a security guy onstage leaving Kurt beaten on the ground. I've seen the footage somewhere. Anyway nothing like that happened to us. Infact this was probably the least attended show on this tour so far, but it didn't matter, the people that turned up were definitely rocked. Tonights show was lotsa fun, Jonny jumped out the front for the whole show, Phil and I followed suit soon after. Jon even divided the crowd into the left-hand side and right-hand side and commanded a scream match. I think the left-hand side won. Trust Company had a stormer of a show too! I'm gonna try and learn one of their songs and and have a bass-off with Josh their bass player at the last show. Two new bands joined us today for the rest of the Trust Co tour. Memento are originally from Aussie, but have been living in LA for the last couple of years. I remember meeting some of them at our old shows at the classic Playroom in the Gold Coast years ago. Also Revolution Smile are with us now from Sacremento, CA. We've been listening to the new White Stripes, AC/DC and 50 Cent cd's really loud with them. So now there's five busses! Four bands and the deluxe Cutty Whisky bus... Met lots of great people after the show and got drunk on Cutty bombs (i dont even like brown spirits). All in all a fun entry into Texas which ended in a fireworks display down the street. x karl
