‘One Million Ways’ (the first official single) is one of the many standout tracks – infectious and epic in equal measure.  Other highlights include the Anika Moa lullaby-esque ‘Sleep Me Tight’, good friend Julia Deans on the optimistic ‘New Beginning’ and co-pilot Shayne Carter on ‘Most Important’.  The result is a collection of songs - beautiful in its eclecticism.

Shihad will be playing at the inaugural [[Gig 20110611|Southern Sounds Festival]]. Shihad will be in the UK for this date solely and will not be playing any other gigs while they are over there. The Southern Sounds Festival appears to be a new festival on the London calendar which brings together NZ, Aussie and South African bands for the ex-pat community. Currently Shihad will be supported by INXS and Town Hall Steps, given that the festival is nine hours long we are guessing that more bands will be joining the line up.
