16 January 2011 - Some Engage Video details

Keeping an eye out on Twitter it looks like the production crew are on the lookout for an abandon house for the Engage video. So this will continue with the theme of videos of:

  • Lead or Follow - Gun Emplacement Tunnels
  • Ignite - Abandoned Gun Platforms

Filming will take place this week while the guys are over for the Auckland Big Day Out. We currently don't have any details on a release date for this.


10 January 2011 - Ignite goes Gold

To start the year off on a great note we have heard that Ignite has gone Gold in NZ.

22 December 2010 - Engage is the fourth single and video gets funding

Engage is going to be the fourth single with a TV, Radio and iTunes release. Currently there are no dates. The video has received NZ on Air funding in the December 2010 funding round.

11 December 2010 - Shihad win Best Rock Artist

Shihad have won at the 2010 Rock Awards Best Rock Artist. This goes with their 2009 Best Rock Artist - Local

9 December 2010 - Ignite Special Edition with bonus The General Electric album

Shihad on December 30 will be releasing a Limited Tour Edition of Ignite which includes a copy of The General Electric (which you can see live in full at the 2011 Auckland Big Day Out). It will be physical only and TGE will be reconfigure to fit in a Super Jewel Case to match the NZ release of Ignite.

4 December 2010 - Shihad win Best Live Performance at Wellingtonista Awards 2010

At the Wellingtonista TAWA awards won "Best Live Performance" for their Killjoy Gig at the San Francisco Bathhouse.

14 November 2010 - Killjoy Sydney now on MoshCam
